Simon is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in knee surgery. He completed his medical degree in 1994 and his orthopaedic training in 2004 to become a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Simon then undertook further training in knee surgery with fellowships in Melbourne and Belgium. Simon performs surgery on a wide range of knee conditions including arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery and anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. He specialises in knee joint replacement surgery, performing over 200 procedures each year, including partial and total knee replacement and revision surgery. Simon sees patients in Heidelberg and holds frequent operating sessions at Warringal Private Hospital. He also a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Western Health since 2006 where he specialises in complex hip and knee joint revision surgery and the reconstruction of traumatic knee injuries.
